Plantation Resort Poolside Bar & Cafe

I visited the Nam Pool restaurant for dinner on two nights and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. The quality far exceeded my expectations for a small poolside restaurant. The setting is gorgeous, with a beautifully lit pool in the background. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming for families. The staff are friendly and the drink prices are reasonable. The restaurant is only a short drive from Craiglie.

I was extremely impressed by the amazing Japanese food served at this restaurant in Port Douglas. The traditional Japanese chef put a lot of thought and care into the dishes, and it really showed in the flavors. The service was friendly and great. Thank you, Hideki.

We are here to celebrate a 60th birthday at this very quiet and clean restaurant. It is a bit outside the city, so having a car is necessary. They have a swimming pool and spa with a pool bar, offering a small selection of food like hamburgers, pizzas, and baked potatoes. The staff is fantastic, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommended!

This is a very cool bar and caffe, great bands on Sunday and Wednesday nights and extremely child and family friendly. Bar staff are excellent and friendly

I have always loved to visit The Plantation Resort Cafe /Bar as everyone has always been so friendly and i especially love The entertainment on Sundays and now even more with the family orientated open mic on Wednesdays.I dont think there is another place in...town that has the family feel we have been experiencing on these evenings. The kids are welcome to join in on our fun..we actually encourage them to sing and one girl in particular(12 was so nervous at first we wondered if she would sing again.. now she is a regular with her wonderful family Father Mother and two siblings and she is singing like a bird. Last week you could of heard a pin drop while she sang : Another thing I like is that the kids can swim and enjoy themselves anytime during the evening.. I love the community feeling from The Plantation Resort.. I am really surprised when i read someone is disappointed with especially the family evenings.. I really cant understand it. I was actually trying to move into a unit but there is a policy of no trailers but its ok I will stay where i am. I would never move into anywhere that i did not like as i am very clean and cleanliness is important to me.But if i could have i would not of had a problem in a second moving into The Plantation Resort.I have many friends that live there and they are more then happy.Like i mention its always been one of my favorite places ..Cheers Rick
