Shannonvale Tropical Fruit Winery

The place appeared to be a private residence from the outside, but once you venture down to the garden and discover the wine tasting spot, it feels just as you had imagined. You’re greeted warmly, and before you know it, you have a glass of wine set in front of you. The service is exceptional, and the local wines are fantastic. As we’re from Denmark, it was quite an exotic experience for us to sample some fruit wines that we hadn’t encountered before. I highly recommend this charming family-run business!

We received a warm welcome from the owner, Trudie, who provided us with detailed explanations about the tasting in advance. We were thrilled to try all the options. The wines were different from the traditional ones we anticipated, but they were delightful in their own way. We particularly enjoyed the mango wine, which wasn't as sweet as we expected. We ended up ordering six bottles and regretted not having them delivered to us in May. Supporting this family business made us very happy!

Toni and Trudie are amazing and passionate about their wine. 5 years ago my favorite wine was the sweet mango, thanks to Trudie I changed my mind and took the ginger white wine and Jaboticaba red wine... It was a pleasure to see you again and hopefully see you soon. Recommend the place if you want to try something else

I highly recommend the winery, if you think it is sweet think again. The smell of all the wines are to die for, the owners are amazing and friendly. Great discount.
