David's Spa - Port Dover

I have been to this restaurant 7 times and the experiences have been hit or miss. Recently, I dined with a group of 11 people, all over the age of 50. It took a long time for our second round of drinks to arrive, and then we were asked who was the designated driver. Throughout the three-hour meal, I only managed to order 4 drinks. Two of us had to send our steaks back because they were overcooked. When the replacement steaks arrived, mine was described as rare but it was actually cooked to a medium temperature, as I had requested. The prices were too high for the small portion sizes - for example, the vegetable side dish consisted of just one piece of squash and two cherry tomatoes, which was disappointing. None of us plan to return as we feel our money would be better spent elsewhere.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure! The food is amazing and the staff are fantastic. Special thanks to Erika, who always greets you with a friendly smile.

I can't wait to return to this restaurant. The view of Lake Erie is stunning, and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is conducive to good conversation, as it is peaceful and quiet.

Beautiful, romantic, elegant lakeside patio (Nonni's Fresca Cucina) added with scrumptious food and excellent service! Highly recommended place!

Health Protection and Promotion Act allows dogs on patios.Ridiculous!!! Patio yesterday was dead. We have a small dog..doesn't bark (yes, yes I know everyone says their dog is well behaved). Mine is..fact!!! Anyway, each patio table is generously spaced apart by large areas of grass.Guess they DON'T need the business or tips on a beautiful sunny day. Like I said restaurant was dead but restaurants everywhere else were full. I think people generally are sick and tired of being told NO for everything. In Europe they walk the walk. When they say...dogs are part of the family..they mean it. Just saying
