The Ship Inn - Port Eynon

This is a fantastic pub with a decent-sized bar, a spacious playroom at the back, and a lovely restaurant. They all share the same menu, which is somewhat limited, but there is a special card available. They do not serve sandwiches or lighter meals, so the only option for a smaller plate is an appetizer. The quality of the food is excellent. There are plenty of outdoor seating options available, and while there is no sea view, the beach is just 200 meters away. The staff is very friendly.

This pub is conveniently located near our accommodation in Port Eynon and came highly recommended. We were not disappointed! They had an excellent selection of food and drinks, and the service was very friendly. I ordered the beer soup, while my partner had the sampi. Both dishes arrived quickly and were delicious. We also had a spicy crumb and a massive cuddly crawl, which were fantastic. The pub is very dog-friendly—our dog, Farie, even curled up and fell asleep under the table. We will definitely eat here again!

I discovered this pub online and decided to book a table based on the positive reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. It's a lovely local spot that is dog-friendly, and the food exceeded typical pub standards. The young bar staff were professional, helpful, and attentive. They also serve food on Sunday evenings, which was hard to find elsewhere in the area. I will definitely return on my next visit to the Gower!

We visited twice at the same weekend. eating was brilliant and we were made to feel very welcome with our dogs. the personal offered dog beds and cookies that was a beautiful note. fantastic design beer and even a live guitarist on Saturday night. highly recommended if they are in the opposite.
