The Schnitzel Shack - Port Hope

We were on our way back from PEC wondering where we could eat in Port Hope when we happened upon The Schnitzel Shack. Being huge fans of schnitzel we had to stop. We were not disappointed. We had a schnitzel poutine and a chicken schnitzel sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. The red cabbage side was awesome too. The owners were super friendly and helpful in deciding on what to order. They told us they have been open for 4 months. They have a few seats inside and a nice patio outside. It is worth noting that while we were there dining on the patio about 6 or so people came in this is a pretty popular spot. This is a great roadside diner perfect for a stop for some delicious schnitzel. We will be back!

The schnitzel melts in your mouth!!! So yummy, I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place has great food and the fries are the best ever ! Stop in and have a great experience.

Hate to say it but was very disappointed and won't go back. A classic case of quantity over quality. Had a schnitzel sandwich and fries and ate about 5 bites of each and threw it out. Fries soggy, oily and lacking even potato taste. Sandwich bun soggy and sauerkraut was horrible, which is really hard to do. Only ok thing was the warm can of pop.
