Whataburger - Port Isabel

The service at this restaurant was outstanding. Every staff member within five feet of me greeted me and checked whether I had been assisted. The quality of my meal was spot-on, which can be a challenge at some casual dining places. I specifically chose to drive from my hotel on the beach to enjoy breakfast and lunch here because the island could really use a boost in dining options.

Nothing special about this place. Not sure what the hype is all about. McDonald’s has better fries,Burger king has better onion rings. Freddie’s, 5 guys or Smash burger have much better burgers. I’d say…. Pass on this fast food place!

This location gets very busy since its on the way out of SPI. I'm tired of reading the reviews of grown adults complaing like babies about waiters and waitresses. You order your food at the counter then sit to eat your food, there is no waitstaff. This isnt fine dining. These are our teens working here. If you're local or from out of town try to be kind to our children who are working till late hours to take your orders and prepare your food.

Have plenty of change Coins in the tills that way you all don't try to short change your customers without giving the excuse that there's a shortage in coins .. And verify order with customers prior to giving them the wrong order

Ordered a few breakfast taquitos and waited over 30 min for them to not even be right. 3 other customers had received giant orders AFTER we placed ours. Sad I even had to leave this place 1 star, doesn't even deserve that.
