La Nouvelle Cantine - Port-la-Nouvelle

We stopped here for lunch. A bit expensive, but mussels were excellent. The restaurant is located directly on the Mediterranean Sea with a bridge to the lighthouse and a sandy beach. It was incredibly windy this day with sand blowing everything we don't... after lunch. Nice place! Recommended.

Driving along the coast we were immediately attracted to go. We were very pleasantly welcomed, although it was quite late for lunch. We expected a small light lunch, but received beautifully presented and fresh tasting food. The place is... beautifully decorated. A trip from the highway worth it!

Un endroit fréquenté par les locaux ... Au 1er abord ça rassure ... Et on a pas été déçu. Petite terrasse cosy avec de la bonne musique un service souriant et attentionné de la cuisine efficace bonne et à des prix très corrects. Bref on y retourne les yeux fermés. Alors certes on ne donne pas sur la plage mais ça mérite sans hésiter le détour.

Petit resto sympa avec une bonne carte de tapas. Quelques plats sont aussi disponibles. Tout est copieux et fait maison. On aime le cadre, le sourire et la disponibilité des serveurs, les prix honnêtes (on s'en est sortis pour 10€ par personne). On regrette juste la qualité du pain qui tranche avec le reste. Et on reviendra !
