Hotel Boston - Port Lincoln

We went to this pub to have some drinks and maybe have dinner. When we went into us, we are asked if we had a booking because they don't accept walk-ins today. no problem, but maybe they should have asked if we were to eat or just drinks before we turn off? the coworker came after us and told us that they were finally in order with Walk-Ins. so we went back (I wish we had not) and ordered two beers on the bar. only two beekeepers, nothing imaginative. we were charged $24 for two beers and they weren't even pints! we went on the way to the grand tasman and bee here with a normal rate of about $14 for two bee. we had dinner there too, and it was delicious, nice that we didn't hang around in the boston.

Waited for over 2 hours for our meals, ordered a hook and chased over cooked and dry, not all that was on the menu on the plate. barservice wasn't better either. management must manage its device more effectively.

Parasites in the oyster! terrible service! careless! we went for our new year dinner and ordered the hook plate, which is seafood, as we were in the seafood capital of South Australia. turns out the oyster had parasites in it! we called the waiter and spoke immediately with Susan Manager assistant, when we just lost a competition and wanted a refund. susan said it was not her fault and they were not served responsible for the oysters. they advised that they could not refund us, even though we hardly touched the plate. she treated us as if we had interrupted her dinner (she made us known that), she did not even apologize. super rude! never again! do not recommend! a beautiful place, really disgusting eating! date of visit: januar 2023

I came with my partner for a drink and a light meal in the sun. The atmosphere was beautiful and the view was stunning for enjoying a drink. However, I was very disappointed with the food (or maybe I just chose the wrong dish). I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken on top, but the chicken was not a nice cut, it was gray and tasted old. When I asked about it, I was told that it was fresh for the day and double boiled (which means it was not fresh). I usually don't like to complain, but when you pay a lot of money for a meal, you expect it to be good, right? This was surprising to me, especially since previous reviews were so positive. Nothing was done to make it right. I won't be returning.

The food is fantastic, although it may be a bit pricey, it is definitely worth it. We had a wonderful experience the first night, so we decided to return the next evening. Even though we tried different dishes from the menu, they were all equally delicious.
