Lotus at Lighthouse - Port Macquarie

Always a good traditional Chinese meal. Fairly traditional interior and friendly staff. Will be back.

Birthday celebrations at Lotus at Lighthouse. Could not fault one thing, every meal was fantastic, and plenty of it, you certainly would not go home hungry. Service was great, would recommend highly. We will be back,

Lotus is a throw back to the types of Chinese restaurants that we used to go to in the 1970s, complete with Pacman tabletop machine. No need to ask for a fork at Lotus because everyone gets a fork and spoon, with chopsticks being offered if you want them. The food was above average, again being all the old favourites with a few additions. The Mongolian chicken hotpot and Peking combination were particularly popular with my family. Service was friendly and efficient with meals coming out quickly. Fried ice cream for dessert and it was a great night. One caution - there is no BYO and the wine list is very limited and of mediocre quality. Overall, though, l would come again.

Always good food at the Lotus. Service can be a bit slow on a Fri or Sat night but this is because it's flat out with a full restaurant. Haven't had a bad dish there yet and have been at least 5 times over the past 3 years. Service is attentive, dishes delish and plenty of it.Hot tip: none needed.
