The San choy bow was gluggy and lettuce brown. The short soup was like drinking a glass of salt water. The honey chicken was a bbq chook cut up and battered, then smothered in gluggy honey something. The satay combination had no satay taste due to the maize or tapioca used to thicken what ever the type of sauce that was being created. The only plus was that the drinks where cold and the only things we paid for. This review is not a joke but the food dished out was
Large menu available with a variety of combination main meals. Reasonably priced with good sized servings. Nice staff with efficient service.
Have been going there over many years. The food has always been good The owner has been there since early 80 s and has always made her own spring rolls, dim sims etc with plenty of fillings .Prices are reasonable.
I took my children and extended family here one night whilst staying for the Ironman we were starving and wanted something where the kids could also eat some food and not have to be too quiet. The two ladies running the restaurant on the night were so accommodating and lovely they brought out colouring pencils and books for my kids and served us quickly and positively. The food, whilst being Australian Asian, was delicious. So good in fact we got takeaway from there two nights later! To feed four adults and two children was under $100, definitely a bargain! I will definitely come back when doing the Ironman next year. Thanks for a stress free meal out with the kids! :
Food was really good, all tasted very fresh! Staff were great, very informative and helpful! Also good priced, and offered takeaway. Not to many dining in, but heaps of people coming for takeaways they just obviously don’t do online reviews!
