The Chalet Restaurant - Port Perry

I found this restaurant to be a hidden gem. The exterior may not be extravagant, but the food is fantastic, especially the menu after 4pm. I highly recommend trying the garlic prawns with crusty bread.

I was a little trepedacious due to some of the less flattering review but when my wife said "This is my new favorite club sandwich" I knew we were gold. Real chicken meat ! I had curry chicken which was creative but real Nothing out of the box. All freshly made Awesome Not a chain The people have character Pinched some of my wife's fries and they were good. Real Homemade Can't wait to try the burger next time

Have gone for breakfast quite a few times. But sometimes, the waitress is just swamped with every table full. The cash only is a drag. I guess they save by not having to pay for Visa or debit? For the money though, the food is good and just enough to feel satisfied.

Love the place ,Best food anywhere ,all fresh home cooking . soups and Caesar salads are amazing .Great prices and friendly service all the time can not wait to go at least 0nce a week Ken , Port Perry caesar salads are amazing .

We travel from Oshawa to Port Perry approximately 3 times a week to eat various meals there. The owners are very friendly, the food is tasty and the prices are very reasonable. It's worth the driving time for sure! :)
