Excellent family Cuban food experience fucked a bit away from the street. exceptional friendly staff. cuban sandwich was authentic and excellent. especially the black was quite tasteful. cocktails were made with fresh ingredients. the meal finished with Cuban coffee. will definitely return if we are in this area in the future.
I was in the area and decided to stop by this restaurant. I arrived at 1:30, outside of normal working hours. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly woman who told me I could sit anywhere. Many tables were dirty, but I assumed it was because the woman working the front of the house was likely busy during lunchtime. I ordered a water, an empanada, and a Cuban sandwich. The empanada was delicious, light, airy, and flavorful. I highly recommend trying the empanada. The Cuban sandwich was made with pulled pork, ham, Swiss cheese (I opted out of the cheese), mustard, and pickles. It was a tasty sandwich, not the best Cuban I've had, but it was still comparable to others I've tried. The best part was the prices - my bill was under $14. Overall, I give this restaurant a 5-star rating and would definitely come back if I was in the area again.
The Cuban sandwich was delicious. I was only able to finish half of it, but that just means I have a great midnight snack waiting for me. I will definitely return to this restaurant.
I just walked out after being ignored. There were two servers and two tables occupied. I stood around for a while and finally asked the lady making a drink if I should seat myself. She said of course and apologized for not seeing me. So I sat down and waited while the servers chatted with their respective customers. After another few minutes or so, I went over to the stack and picked up a menu for myself. No big deal. Perused the menu for a while still no service while they chatted with their respective customers. Finally I had to leave, as I only have so much time available for a lunch break from work. I really wanted to give this place a try, as I was raised in Tampa and love cuban food. It would have been easy to put my order in and go back to speaking with their other customers. Oh well...
