The Highland Fryer - Port Shepstone

Had an excellent experience here. Had a Sunday lunch here, was sitting immediately and although it took a while to take our drinks order we waited it out. Ordered drinks and appetizers. Had a cheesy garlic roll that was fresh and crispy, garlic snails that were decent and buffalo wings with onion rings. Wings were delicious and onion rings. I personally ordered the Calamari and Squid Heads Combo. Well worth the money, as the portions were huge and very tasty. We also ordered an icebone, fish and yarn comb and the special of the day, Sunday Roast. The Calamari and Quid Heads were fresh. All meals were tasty after my family. The food was fresh and tasteful. Your money really worth it. Had no place to dessert when we were so full and satisfied. The service was great. I would recommend this place.

What an incredible menu. Fantastic and friendly staff, beautiful and clean rooms. The food was sensational and incredibly expensive. MmmmMMM. We will definitely come back.

Great food from the word good. The menu prices have been so easy to note from pictures on google that its a bit more expensive, but definitely worth the price. Great mood and friendly people.

Went multiple times during a 2 week holiday. Excellent, really delicious menu options as well as a pub menu, family friendly. Venue allows seating choice of restaurant VS pub depends on the co you with, slight balcony with view of oceon. Very, very friendly staff who remember you, and your drink choices. Nights had different fun events, roaring fun but never too loud so a really good time n still conversational. Welcoming and pulsing or relaxed and chatty, you decide where you want to sit per time of day. I'm a fan and will return often.
