Sole mio - Port-Vendres

Walking along the beach we stopped at this bar/restaurant for a drink. Despite being nearly empty we were told they were only serving lunch and we were turned away. Surely six beers would not have been too difficult and would have generated some income from...his empty tables.

This bay part of the Paulilles beach is beautiful, but the restaurant is a picture post card version which you would like to see.... but the food is amazing... I had the cod... sounds simple, but honest.... Service is great, location... is to die for... my wife has the Squid and it was also amazing... it was not easy to find, but if you are ever close-up and book... not expensive and you will feel as you have won the bay :

Saturday noon. Try to reserve a terrace table (for a near window in the shade by phone, but no answer to 10.30 a.m. We did not have any favorite seating early, although several tables remained free for the entire lunchtime. Friendly staff. Attention. Good menu. Anchovies were delicious. Crab rillette was so spiced. Seafood plate (divided main course was a car crash of undercooked fish and over boiled squid. Once again, everything was under season. Prawns tasted strange (not out, but something “muddy” and we were not warned about shellfish, although we were asked for details of the plate (language problems, maybe). Not enough carbohydrate to accompany the plate only two dry potatoes. Nice location, but restaurant felt a bit ashamed and unloved. The next time it will definitely be a posh picnic on the beach and a LOT of change from €118 the bill for two adults, a child, three starters, a common dish, two ice desserts, a coffee, some soft drinks and NO alcohol. The elimination would unfortunately not return or recommend.

I'm here two years ago. I was there with a group of friends. We had great evenings there. I love this place.

Très bon restaurant situé sur une plage dans l'anse de Paulilles, la terrasse, à quelques mètres à peine de la mer, est idéale pour pouvoir profiter du cadre. Les serveurs sont très accueillants et sympathiques. La cuisine catalane est aux couleurs du lieu et les plats sont plutôt simple mais très bons. Une bonne adresse pour les amateurs de poissons grillés et de cuisine méditerranéenne.
