Firehouse Subs Portage

I really love their subs, but don't be in a rush!!!! My son and I waited 20+mins for 2 small subs. We were the only two that placed an order and they took the lions share of time to make them. Aside from all that, I wish I had taken a pic of my sub. It looked horrible. It wasn't even centered on the bread, and bread looked like they broke it in half. I'm so disappointed.

Maybe it's just a couple lackluster experiences, but I feel like the greatness of this place has gone down some. The sandwiches are just kinda thrown together, and something seems different. Again, maybe just a bad couple experiences, if it changes with my next visit I'll update my review. Oh... and please, Firehouse, bring back the sauces! It was a signature experience!

This place has the best sandwiches in town hands down. Great service, they sell the pickle buckets, and ask if these places donate to their local fire stations which is pretty cool too. Place makes subway look like garbage and even Jimmy John's can't touch this place.

I can’t praise this place enough! We regularly order catering for work, and unlike other businesses I've used, which often treated our orders as an inconvenience, Firehouse has been incredibly friendly and helpful right from our first order. The sandwiches are fantastic, and the cookies are a delightful addition. If you're looking for a reliable place to deliver sandwiches, Firehouse is definitely the best choice!
