Pueblo Viejo Mexican Porter

The food itself was pretty good, but the margaritas... not so much. At first, Rita was okay, but didn't taste like there was a lot in it. The second tasted like pure Rita mix. We compared some of our drinks and it was remarkable. Wouldn't recommend drinking here, it wasn't worth it.

Leaving Houston headed home i was craving cheese enchiladas... Exited to get fuel out of Walmart saw the sign for this Mexican restaurant and decided to try. Just ordered the normal three cheese enchilada dinner with rice and beans. I felt like I was at a high school football game with the old nasty canned cheese for on top of a cheese enchiladas that were not all the way hot... Beans tasted out of a can and the rice was dry. The picture says it all... And I would never order cheese enchiladas if this establishment again. Service was fast but never saw him to come back and refill my hot sauce or drink, but he brought the ticket. I definitely would skip this exit next time. And there is no excuse for refilling because they weren't busy.

We had a nice meal, enjoying prompt, friendly, service and a variety of flavors. When my entree did not match the description on the menu, the manager asked what I was looking for made recommendations to replace the first meal. The mucho healthy was a fantastic dish (see photo) and worth the effort. During this time of high inflation, it 's super thoughtful that the restaurant will give folks a discount for paying in cash (see photo).

This was our first time there, and it will last be there. The food wasn't good. Chicken and beef fajitas were hardly warm. It had a lot of boiled onions, but hardly meat at all. We're not going back.

The food wasn't good. The Taco shells were stabbed. The beans and enchiladas were terrible. And I must say the bad experience started in the parking lot when we arrived. There was a crazy guy outside the screaming of preferences and threatening idols, but those in the restaurant who are not interested in threatening their guest on arrival. I was worried he would damage my vehicle. I asked the waitress what they did about it and she said she wouldn't do anything. When we got there, the place was almost empty. We sat right at the kitchen door. Why don't you ask where we want to sit, e.g. table or stand? I'm not going back.
