Yosake Downtown Sushi Lounge

Yosake not only has excellent sushi chefs...the menu offers a lot of options...and they Are all delicious

I don't get the place. Prices higher than in NYC, portions smaller. For 4 sushi nigiri I paid 20$, and got the smallest pieces of fish you can expect. Cucumber roll had peas in it...Taste is fine, but considering this city is on the water can be better

Sushi was okay but honestly all of their food was pretty bad. Very salty soup. Undercooked rice noodles. Clearly cook chicken ahead of time and then just throw it on the sauce to stir fry for dishes. Disappointing.

The food was really good, I always come here when I’m craving the firecracker shrimp. I come year long, and this time was different. The dining room was stuffy and hot, and you could smell the sweat coming off everyone in there. I even heard an employee exit briskly- stating, “I’m going to pass out”. I have never felt the price is unfair, until feeling the temperature can not be properly controlled.
