Smokin Subs - Porterville

The girls at motel 6 told me that was the sandwich spot. I had the California tip. By far the best tri-tip sandwich I've ever had. A large ol' YUM with fast ingenious service. I'm going back to Porterville to enjoy this experience again. Rock on!!!!

I don't even know where to start with this place. The sandwiches are huge, the bread is soft, the meat is smokey, hot and stacked high. If you're a first timer, I recommend not to do with the sandwich. Eat it like that. Derek (the owner) knows what he does when he puts meat and potato pancakes on a hoagie or puts cream cheese/Franch/Tortegas/and turkey on flatbread. I love the homemade soup every day, but I was hesitant to taste the cream of the mushroom yesterday. So glad I did it! It was like a beautiful mushroom sky. Garlicky, buttery, tons of 'schrooms in an incredible cream broth. I dreamed about it last night. The service is sweet and honest, the price is worth it (you can easily make two meals from a whole sandwich if you can resist the urge to slip yourself), and I promise you will be back! Porterville needed it so bad!

California Tri-Tip sandwich was the best absolutely loved the BBQ creamy sauce, thanks to Crossfit Powerhouse for telling us about this fantastic sub-place..Yummmm!!

All sandwiches at Smokin Subs are upstairs! But their soups should die.

Great food a the way around soup was great pastrami was a hit.. Recommend you adding a french dip to menu; will try another sandwich next !! A must try!!
