Villa La Colombaia - Portici

I stayed here for work purposes about 3 times in several non-contiguous weeks and I must honestly say that the structure is very beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean as well as large, but unfortunately the structure lacks in the services offered. Examples: breakfast which, not being a buffet, must be agreed upon the evening before and honestly I don't always know the evening before I can say what I expect to find at breakfast and above all remember to communicate it... Another fundamental thing is not being able to be free to enter and exit the facility after midnight independently....and finally the icing on the cake, the advance payment for the nights I stay, I have honestly never conceived of it....I have always paid at check-out in any facility.

It has potential, the rooms are nicely furnished but cleanliness and maintenance need to be reviewed especially in the bathrooms. It had never happened to us that we were asked to settle the bill before even presenting the documents at the reception if you can call it that. Furthermore, we were asked for a price increase for breakfast even though breakfast was included. The breakfast, on request and not as a buffet, because I assume we were alone in the hotel, was all in all acceptable.
