This is the place for traditional Portuguese cuisine in portimão. no Frills menu, with fresh and local ingredients, affordable and good wine list and friendly service. they can see the waiting queue for busy months and they will be surprised at the end with the bill positiw. highly recommended!

Be ready for a waiting, always a good sign when most people are waiting Portuguese. when sitting food arrives quite fast and at highest quality. enlivened but charming staff. will be visited safely again.

Order the fried heke chocolate mouse, they will not regret it. this place is authentic, quality all round wonderful. if you're looking for a place where the locals eat, it's a real taste of portimão.

Get the fish soup, grilled mackerel and fried sole. Those were my fave. It really is fresh. Very tasty, was here 3x during holidays.
