Well, many years later, I visited again, but was quite shocked... the burgers including sauce, salad, pickle tomatoes was completely tasteless! Not sure I'll ever return to a Burgerville. Time will say it. Now the Walla-walla onion rings were excellent!
Eating was good, but does not taste so good when you go it in 5 minutes after sitting in the heat that I think of a warning to anyone to go. Do NOT go through the drive by having it delivered somehow would have been faster. 3pm 5 cars in front of me when I pulled TWENTY FIVE min waiting and if you are in line you are STUCK. unless you have a person who runs the entire store, or you grow the ingredients in the back room, that is crazy. (Saw 3 people hanging at the office when I finally got into the window) Finally, instead of an excuse for the excessive waiting time, I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip.
Refused to serve me water with my meal. because we can only serve soda at meals, some had to go with the cashier to give me a cup of ice. This is on a 92 degree day. also ordered onion rings that tasted just like fish.
You get good, GOOD food 70% of the time, but they are very busy at any time. I've been eating here for years and I'm not gonna stop, but you need to know what you're getting in there. Be ready to wait for (not a joke) 20 minutes to get to the MENU TO ORDER. After that you can wait anywhere from 10-15 minutes to get your food.
I'm not 100% in love with the new menu. That's the reason for the lack of a fifth star. I miss the bean burger selection. The bliss shakes are a total saving grace, they're the only dairy free milkshake option in Newberg... At least that I know of. But Burgerville is overall the most superior fast food joint around being zero-waste and all local is a plus as well. If you're looking for a less guilty burger and fry option, this is the place!
