Ernesto's Italian - Portland

I have been to Ernesto’s multiple times, and their food is adequate a homey style, Italian food the pasta dish I had might not be four-star, certainly enjoyable.

The food has always been good and the staff is usually friendly and attentive. However the service today was not great Both of the things I ordered where incorrect and the salad was significantly smaller than it has been in the past. Luckily the owner replaced one immediately and the other I was able to work with. Another item was forgotten until much later. The server was borderline obnoxious and openly complained about everything, including her tips. She was unnecessarily rude to another employee who was significantly younger and seemed to be new. It was awkward and uncomfortable.

Very taste my chicken parmigiana was big and delicious. I’m not a really fat person but my stomach touched the both tables when I sat so they need to space the booth more far from the table and I need to lose weight.

Enjoyable experience with good food. Not at all fancy atmosphere but friendly staff.
