It turned my day around 180° and she may never know. I would give this place 6 stars if I could! Always an amazing environment and I have been their amazing genuine Brooklyn style pizza for years but tonight’s food? Topped off while wholesome.
Literally the BEST PIZZA JOINT IN PORTLAND MAINE. HANDS DOWN ! Pizziolo is bussin bussin 10/10
Hands down the best New York pizza I've ever had in New England, and honestly the best pizza I've probably ever had in my life. Perfectly crispy crust, beautiful marina sauce, tons taste and perfect directly from the oven. Garlic nodes should also die.
I grew up in Connecticut, 20 minutes from the world famous Frank Pepe's, surrounded by other incredible, lesser known pizza places, and in the shadow of the pizza capitol that is New York City. I've lived in Maine for over a decade now and nothing I've tried has even come remotely close to competing with even average pizza joints in NY and CT. That is, until I tried Pizzaiolo. Pizzaiolo is the real deal, and I would hold it up favorably against some of the gold standards of New York and Connecticut. If that's your preferred style of pizza, this is by far the best place to go in the entire state of Maine.
Big fan of thin pizza with a crispy crust. Pizzaiola nailed both. Very good New York style pizza. We had the Bronx and Pesto. ?
