Tienda Santa Cruz - Portland

I really love this restaurant! The tamales are delicious, and the food always tastes great. The only downside is that they don't allow substitutions on their set menu items, which means there aren't many options for vegans and vegetarians. If you do want to make a substitution, it ends up costing about twice as much.

This place serves the best Mexican food in Portland! I really enjoy their tacos, but I recently tried their burritos and loved those too. Everything I've had here has been delicious. Plus, the grocery store has some fantastic items to discover!

I’ve visited this restaurant a few times, and I really enjoy the El Pastor Burrito. It's delicious and not overly wet. Plus, it’s huge and definitely filling, making it worth a trip for the food. However, the old square seating area is nothing special, especially with those outdated orange seats.

I was not too impressed by the Taqueria her fried beans were cold, rice was blande, and the shrimps were chewing. Overall, it was a very bad meal. I love supporting local mom pop shops, but I had better experiences with Taco Trucks at a cheaper price. On the other hand, great customer service from the end of the business, and their Tamale were to die? so delicious. Would you come back?

Pork burritos are literally a pile of pure grease. 100% unedible. They say that's how it is. Been eating pork burritos half my life and I disagree. Had to use 15 napkins as it dripped all over the table and clothes. Definitely don't eat one while in the car.
