Tu Casa Salvadorena - Portland

This is a fantastic hidden gem! The tamales are absolutely delicious. There’s a charming outdoor seating area, though there’s no indoor seating. The walk-up service can be a bit inconvenient when it rains, like during our visit, but we would definitely return!

I ordered takeout, and everything was fantastic. It was my first time trying plantains, and I actually preferred them over bananas!

This is the best spot in the area! The service is exceptional, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic.

I brought my pregnant wife and son to this restaurant for some genuine, delicious food. My son practically gobbled up everything he could reach on our plates. My wife mentioned it was some of the best food she’s ever had. I have to agree; if you appreciate authentic cuisine, this place is top-notch!

The food here is incredible! The soup they serve on Sundays is absolutely fantastic. I really wish they offered it every day or every other day. The prices are a bit on the high side, though.
