The Guinness flavoring has a unique taste and a very good one at that. Cute little restaurant with a great bar option downstairs as well. Great view of casco bay as well. Decent prices and down to earth staff. Definitely a recommend Irish pub to check out!
This late morning after enjoying a walk in the Old Port my wife and I were looking for a place to eat; many places were not open yet as it was only 11. We found our way into the last place on the left. We walked in, were promptly greeted and made our way to the bar in a side room. We then met our server Molly. What a vibrant soul of a lass. She is very knowledgeable of everything offered in the menu. My wife went with her suggestions and was more than pleased. I went out of my normal and ordered the Shepherd's Pie. I was presented a meatloaf sized serving of the delicate and two pieces of a darker style bread. Time to shorten this up a bit. I have spent time across the nation and the world while serving one the United States Marine Corps; this was the best meal in all aspects I have had the pleasure of enjoying in the United States and I am fortunate enough that it is in my home state. I send my entire thanks and cannot wait to visit again.
Whenever I am in town this is one place I have to go to! The food is great and the atmosphere is amazing! Love the fireplaces and the view of the water from the second floor, the staff is super friendly.
Really cool lunch spot and I am sure it’s totally rocking in the evening. The food was great, I had the lamb burger. Great service and awesome views..
Order the side of fried potatoes. OMG! I have never had anything so delicious in my life. Fried crispness on all sides of the potatoes (several varieties of potatoes were used) and the inside exploded like mashed potatoes in consistent texture and softness when you bite down. Great local beer choices, too.
