It's a charming and elegantly decorated coffee shop that felt calm and relaxing inside. Everyone seemed happy. Despite the rainy day outside, it felt sunny and cheerful indoors. We had coffee somewhere else, but ordered food here. I had a breakfast burger and my wife had a breakfast bowl with sweet and regular potatoes. The portions were generous and the presentation was nice. We would definitely eat here again, but we have other places we want to try first. I was especially pleased to find a place that serves breakfast burgers before our visit to the Japanese garden, which was just a 10-minute drive away. This Cafe was part of the reason we chose to dine here.
I went to this restaurant for a late afternoon lunch and ordered a burger wrapped in lettuce and garlic fries. Overall, the food was pretty good. The sauce on the burger reminded me of Russian or Thousand Island Dressing, so I didn't need any ketchup. The fries could have been cooked a little longer for my liking, as I prefer them crispy on the outside. The restaurant had a lot of natural light, giving it a spacious and airy feel, and the music wasn't too loud. I noticed they had something called a Chaga Latte on the coffee menu, which piqued my interest. It's not often you find a latte sweetened with monk fruit and with immune-boosting properties. I plan to return earlier in the day to try it out.
I really enjoyed the honey rose latte at this restaurant. The salmon burger was decent, but I wish it had more flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Additionally, the hostel next door has a great selection of postcards for sale.
I stayed in the hostel connected to the café, so this place was really comfortable! The zigzag bowl was delicious and the kombucha was really good!
