Very disappointed with the chicken cashew stir fry. Too much charcoal for my taste. Oh wait, charcoal wasn’t included on the list of ingredients. When I complained, the nice young lady offered me a meal voucher for next time. Such a shame we’re visiting and won’t get to use it. Sean I are beginning to think there isn’t a decent RSL outside of Bendigo. We’ve always supported the RSL but this is the 2nd in a row outside of Bendigo that has been greatly lacking.

Beautiful food. Great steak. Great service. Great environment. Shame about the people who expect 6 star service at a beer price and complain. All 8 of us enjoyed the food. Thankyou Portland RSL. George From WA

Chicken has been dry on a number of occasions but the sticky date pudding is amazing!

Have been a few times and on the whole we have found it good food is tasty and the service is good, the only thing it is not wheelchair friendly which is a great shame for the R S L.

As much as I have given this place chances, today was the last. Asked if my child's lunch could come out as soon as possible but was told it will come first when our table was served. An hour later our meals came out. The chicken parmajma was burnt and uneditable. It's an embarrassment especially when today was Anzac day!
