Fisherman's - Portmagee

The food was very basic. It was just a small salad, chips, and a bowl of falafels it’s no dip or bread. They could have made a better effort. Atmosphere is lovely though. Traditional Irish bar!

The vegan and vegetarian 'daily special ' were the same what was described to me as a burger without the burger bun, but was grated vegetables somehow bound together with a plate of chips and a sad little salad on the side. Staff were friendly, does a good pint of Guinness. Would tide you over. Updated from previous review on 2021 08 22

A pub with a resturaunt on side, a tomato based pasta is their vegan option, a very simple and basic option for vegans but it fills a gap. Nice pasta but needs more seasoning and real tomatoes. The man behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming, the beers were ice cold

Lovely pub restaurant in the small village of Portmagee. The staff is very friendly and aware of vegan options. I ordered the vegan pasta of the day which was tomato sauce with pasta. Although it was pretty basic, the fact that they offer vegan options is amazing! The pasta hit the spot after a long day of driving and was perfect for a pub meal with several pints...of course! The view is really lovely if you get a window seat and they have a pretty decent selection of beer. Nice area for a walk after your done dinner or hop on over to the pub next door.
