Cafe Nelma - Porto

If you like Francesinha this is the place to go if you´re in the neighbourhood. If you, like me, don´t like Francesinha, take the steak. It was excellent. Good meat grilled perfectly. This is a place just with tables and chairs. TV on the wall, football match running, cold beer. And the tastiest steak around.

Very simple, typical Portuguese restaurant. We were told by locals that it's the best Francesinhas in Porto and we were not disappointed. Excellent meal, good price.

Don't go to Cafe Nelma expecting luxury but be ready to experience great food and friendly service. I ate Francesinhas with fries, the food is spicy but not overwelminly hot, just the right amount of it and it's good, so good that if there was any space left I'd eat two! Also ask for a Tango, it's a very uncommon drink (mixed of beer and currant) and it's lovely!

Para quem gosta de uma boa francesinha picante, ou até comer entre a meia-noite ou 1h, este é o estabelecimento ideal.Atendimento simpático, recomendo !
