Dona Maria Pregaria - Porto

For me it's the best burger in town. You have lots of choices, very good meat, bread and fries. you can choose french fries or sweet potato fries. Both are very good but the sweet potatoes are to die for!!! Make sure to arrive before 13h for lunch, 20h for dinner, as the lines can get pretty big. Plus: They have a daily menu, very cheap, the burger+drink, but you can't choose the burguer. Cons: The service is VERY slow, the chairs are not confortable and it can get really smelly, which are the only negative points about this.

We had a great experience in this small but very nice place to have hamburgers. The meat and the condiments were great and the chips as well. Another big plus was the service: very kind and fast. Definitely a place to recommend!

Brought wrong burgers and forgot some. Rly bad, terrible, overrated, overpriced I want my money back

We've been to Pregaria several times and the food has always been outstanding, best burgers we found in Porto. Unfortunately, something has changed. Our burgers were served so rare they were raw and one burger was missing the crispy onions. The server returned the burgers to the kitchen, but instead of making new burgers, they just cooked the meat and reassembled the burgers, so the lettuce, arugala, tomatoes, etc., were no longer fresh and by then the french fries were cold. We asked for hot french fries but by the time they arrived, we had finished our burgers. The caramel mousse, for dessert, had a very gooey consistency. Everything was just off. Not sure if there is a new owner, new cooks, or what, but the quality of the burgers is not the same. I will say the service is still really good. Sadly, we won't be back.

I’ve come here more than once but today I wanted to share because it was interesting. We came here because a lot of places where closed, and because of that we had less time for lunch. The place was packed! I explained this to the waiter, he asked me the deadline I had to leave and predicted the amount of time the others took, and he said you have time to eat here! And we had! Loved the experience because of this! We had the Best prego and it was good enough, had some nerves on the meat which it made it hard to bit in some parts. Not much, but enough to comment.
