Grelhador Da Boavista - Porto

Had a half portion of the mixed meat between two , steak , chicken, ribs , sausage. , black pudding. Nicely cooked on grill but the seemed to have oil added over it which made greasy. Rice a little dry and chips soggy. Can’t quibble with cost as with drinks only € 24 but ended up disappointed

We chose 2 veal dishes that were absolutely huge and tasty. The waiter spoke little English but with loads of smiles and gesticulations we got on very well. A bit out of town but well worth a bus/taxi or indeed we walked 30 minutes which worked off a bit of the fabulous generous meal after.

I arrived from the airport a bit late just minutes before closing time. closes at 11 p.m. the stuff was very kind and helpful. the food, the wine were just perfect at low prices. thanks Jorge and Luis, the chef. if I return to Porto, I'll visit again.

A great local find unpretentious with excellent food and outdoor seating. First night I had their house veal, served with grilled potatoes. A first course of cod cakes, and olives preceded my order. And a glass of Mateus Rose. Second night, after a full mid day dinner elsewhere, I ordered only the day’s special soup, which was chicken and beans. Food at both meals was excellent. Congenial wait staff.

Really good food and good prices ! Should not miss! We stay 4 Days and enjoyed it twice the waiters a very friendly and kind!
