A good place to taste the famous francesinhas, which is a sort of croque monsieur with lots of different meat and a special sauce which is not without reminding us of the poutine sauce in Quebec. You have to wait at almost anytime of the day, but once in the service is swift and the food is tasty. Don’t come here if what you want is a refined meal, but do come if you are in for great popular food!

Você tem que esperar quase a qualquer hora do dia, mas uma vez no serviço é rápido e a comida é saborosa. Não venha aqui se o que você quer é uma refeição refinada, mas venha se você gosta de uma boa comida popular!

For foreigners they charge higher prices. In the english menu the prices are over 20% higher! I really felt discriminated

Had an amazing meal it was a crab cake style but with octupus Delicious and my husband had a filet with rice and beans that was extremely juicy and tender. The food was awesome and the service was great the staff was very attentive. Highly recommend it. The desserts were also worth the mentioning Alot of homemade desserts available. Great place for lunch!!!

Near my hotel. Stopped in for a late lunch. Very friendly. Clean and efficient space. They have menu in several languages. The San Remo style Franchsina sandwich was great and extremely filling. Very much a local spot. Great value.
