619 Cantina - Portsmouth

I decided to try 619 on a whim after seeing it on Foursquare, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I arrived around 11:30, just before the lunchtime rush, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with the menu. One fun feature is that you can add your own artistic touch to the menu using a grease pencil. The timing may have played a role, but my food arrived quickly and was exactly what I was craving. It was also quite affordable. I will definitely be returning!

As someone from San Diego, I was really impressed with the food here. I'm definitely planning to return and will likely try the entire menu eventually.

Our friends have raved about this place for ages, so we were excited to finally check it out (even if we arrived a bit late to the party). The tacos were fantastic, and you can customize them with all the toppings you desire, including their delicious house-made queso. The pork, aside from the carnitas, was incredibly tasty, and the spicy margaritas were spot on. Our amazing bartender not only served us well but also provided us with a list of entrees to try next. Plus, we received a complimentary churro for checking in, which was the perfect blend of sweetness and deliciousness. What more could you ask for?!?

Highly recommend. Veteran owner please support. Great food, service, atmosphere. Sonoran hot dog is a must have. The **** Mary's aren't bad either.

I jewel on High St. I came for the margaritas but couldn't help but to order off the build your own Taco menu which had homemade it seemed hard Taco shells. My shrimp tacos were amazing and affordable. Great casual place.
