Chick N Roll - Portsmouth

This place was under my nose for so long! Food is absolutely delicious, the flavors are amazing and unlike most chicken oriented restaurants. They are not only delicious but they don't take long to make your order either! I would highly recommend Chick-N-Roll to anyone who loves chicken wings/bites/sandwhichs, and if you're into sushi they do that too! The restaurant was clean, staff professional, and food as always is on point!

My husband and I just ate at the Chick N Roll in Portsmouth and it exceeded our expectations. We ordered the spicy soy garlic and the sweet and savory chicken, the CNR chicken sandwich, the okonomiyaki, a coffee milk tea and a taro milk tea. We recently moved back from Japan and were looking for a restaurant that scratches our itch for asian fried chicken and we got it here. The breading and the flavors were fantastic. Also, our 3.5 year old loved the sweet and savory chicken. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Restaraunt is really crowded. It is essentially fast food service but they want to be tipped. The jalapeno soy flavor only comes with 10 wings. There were no jalapenos in my order. There was sesame seeds, green onion, and an ungodly amount of capsaicin extract. The wings were not crispy also. I have eaten 2 million scoville sauces, that you have to sign a waver to eat, and i felt like these wings maced me in comparison. Use actual jalapenos to flavor your stuff, not cheap extracts. Especially when its over a dollar per wing. The food also had a slight plastic smell to it idk why. My okonomiyaki was burnt, and resembles no other okonomiyaki ive seen or tried. Taste wise it was tolerable, but i couldnt get past the burnt plasticy smell. Lastly, who sells taro tea but only offers jelly boba, instead of normal boba. There is a difference, you should specify tapioca boba on your menu to order somewhere. I will keep my business at domoishi.

You walk in. It's fancy. You order at the counter- and are seated. A short time later, you're served a delicious, fresh cooked, and reasonably priced meal! The chicken sandwich (a staple) is made to perfection. You can taste the authentic flavor and freshness. They need these in Hawaii!! The jalapeño wings are fire ? ?

This might just be the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried plenty! I ordered the garlic soy chicken sandwich, and you can truly sense the care that went into making it. The breading and sauce are one-of-a-kind and absolutely delicious. It’s topped with homemade slaw that complements it perfectly. I’ll definitely be returning! Even the way the sandwich was wrapped demonstrated their attention to detail. You can tell this food is made with love, and it's only $10.99 for a combo! Unbelievable! I give it a perfect 10 out of 10!
