Happy Time Food Mart - Portsmouth

The oxtails are enormous and incredibly tender. The jerk chicken is packed with flavor. This is definitely my top choice in Virginia. I drove 30 minutes each way just for a meal, and it lasted me two days. I highly recommend this place! Food: 5/5

It's essentially a convenience store, but you'd think the food came from a restaurant! I don't like that they charge $3 for sauces on the side, but the food is absolutely worth the trip through the tunnel.

Honeyyyyyy all I can say is they're not cheap with the meat like MP's. I love this place. Fresh, courteous, plenty of food that's replenished frequently. Definitely my go-to spot for ox ? tails.
