Joe's New York Pizza - Portsmouth

This spot is one of my favorites from the area, pizza is fresh and the slices are a decent size for the price.! I would definitely recommend trying it out!

Ordered two slice fresh out of oven and it’s terrible pizza . Ordered 2 cheese slices and had plenty of cheese and grease but no sauce and undercooked dough . Last time going . Not NY style pizza

The pepperoni slice I got was great, the chicken on the bbq chicken slice was a little dry. I’ll come back Vegetarian options: It’s pizza. A lot of it doesn’t have meat. Kid-friendliness: Nothing un-kid-friendly

Prices here are ridiculous, I placed an order and for 3 large pizza it was a total of $75??????. On top of the fact there pizza is gross. Almost 30 for a Buffalo pizza??? Gotta be kidding. And if I could not give any stars I wouldn't. Because 1 star is still too much for them.

I've been to a couple locations and unfortunately this one has been by far the worst. The website items are inconsistent with what is available at the location, and the food that is available was not quality. The chicken bomb calzone had next to no chicken, and was tasting off. The fried dough balls were a couple cinnamon knots that were dusted with so much cinnamon I gagged when trying to swallow some. The garlic knots were just overly oiled bits of dough that tasted subpar. We also tried a bacon pineapple pizza that was just a mess in general. I won't be trying this location out again, as I have had better experiences with their other locations, and recommend you consider elsewhere. Friendly staff, just not food worth the price.
