Green Elephant - Portsmouth

This restaurant is absolutely fabulous. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the staff are all so friendly and the food/service is amazing. I have no complaints- they are very accommodating for those with food allergies too. I would recommend Green Elephant to all- you will not be disappointed!

At the Portsmouth location we had Soy Nuggets, Hot Spicy Soy Sticks, and the 'spare ribs ' which were all incredible and they even had the Allagash Belgian Triple (my favorite) on tap the restaurant ambience is great too. We had also tried the Portland restaurant and I can 't remember what we got but it was amazing also. I highly recommend either!

Ended up going here late night first getting into Portsmouth very glad that I went. I loved everything about it from the decor to the artwork based on Iceland) and of course the menu. Started with choice dumplings which were delicious and mini somasas not impressed with them however I am use to large Indian somasas). Dinner I had pad Thai and it is honestly the best pad Thai I ever had and I've had a lot), my gf got the tika masala it was good however it would have been better had they given naan with it to soak of the broth as that was the majority of meal. I would happily go back here.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly staff! I highly recommend the Pad Thai, I got a level 2 for heat as I’m not a big fan of overly spicy food and I really enjoyed it, but next time I think I’ll try a level 3. I’ll be back for sure!

Great atmosphere with amazing Vegan food. I would recommend this place to anyone, not just Vegetarians or Vegans
