This place is very wholesome. The staff are very friendly and the food is very good. My friend and I had their soup of the day (cream of mushroom) and a vegan breakfast place. Both of these were amazing. It was overall a very great experience and I would definitely come again if I happened to be in Portsmouth.
Lovely little cafe with lots of choice of cakes and different teas and coffees
Well presented with friendly staff, safest area in park, calm place to unwind good menu for its size. Parents be aware here though. Watch you little monsters, there's a nasty road round the corner if you can't chain your brood. If they have toys I advise washing when you get home as dog's are walked here.
The food and coffee looked lovely. Unfortunately I never got to try it. It was very busy and understaffed, but that doesn't excuse being ignored at the counter for 10 minutes. 2 members of staff passed continually in front of me, as I waited to place my order at the till, without acknowledging my presence, one of them even coming around to my side of the counter, to place a plate of biscuits right next to me, still nothing! After 10 minutes the girl making the coffee finally interacted with me, saying she would take my order soon, but then disappeared for another few minutes. I spoke to a couple who had placed an order before I arrived and had still not received it. They said they'd been there 20 minutes, so I gave up and left.
