Yates Portsmouth

As a student, for just £3.50 i was able to get a burger and chips. Not just any burger... a thick succulent beef patty with bacon, cheese and a salad garnish in between two soft buns and the chips... thick cut and cooked to perfection. For the same price as a meal deal, why would you choose a sandwich and crips when you can get a delicious and filling meal. 10/10 would reccomend this to all my student friends as the place to go out to eat, fantastic value for money. Staff are also very friendly, the tables are generally clean and not too sticky and food is served quickly, overall great customer service.

Far to expensive for the amount of food given for the price of it saying that the food is zingy when is it extremely spicey Evan asking after the staff member about getting told there is no spice in the food so I could eat it as I have allergies to food I have to make sure it's a diabolical

Visited here for waiting for the graduation to start while the rain passed. Staff looked hungover and the place is a little run down but the food was alright.

The staff were very good and helpful, food was excellent (had the small mixed grill which was excellent and just big enough) and people in the Pub were very friendly.

I occasionally pop into Yates after work with colleagues.I am a fan of local pubs due to their atmosphere. However the staff in Yates make it feel like a locally owned business. They are so knowledgeable and friendly. I would also like to mention Georgia in particular who is always happy to talk about Ales with me and is just a generally good member of Staff
