La Cambusa - Positano

This restaurant was recommended by our local tour guide. Overlooking the ocean, the ambience and food was fantastic! I had the fresh fish in a lemon sauce that had thinly sliced crispy potatoes on top- so delicious. My husband had the sesame tuna that was equally good. I felt the prices were reasonable especially for the quality of the food. Would highly recommend this restaurant for seafood!

Pasta to be served Al dente but all of us at table with pasta was disappointed because it was way undercooked. Middle was still raw pasta.

Lo scriverei più volentieri in italiano però sarà meglio farlo in inglese. So we asked for a table for 3 person more then a day before the occasion because we were celebrating the anniversary of our wedding. Well, we were accommodated in the middle of the restaurant (può capitare, era venerdì , but! The antipasti was covered with low quality balsamico; wine was very decent especially for the price; il pacchero era abbastanza buono; spaghetti alla nerano erano dal supermercato all’estero con la cottura adeguata (tranne sugo abbastanza decente and the pasta for my daughter (so called pasta Alfredo for kids was not edible at all. The dessert was so so sweet that nevertheless I’m so attentive to not waste the food we wasn’t able to finish it. Very disappointed indeed

The sea is where you can almost touch it. that's why the location is worth almost half of the dinner. Of course, the furniture is a bit dated, while the mise en place is typical and sought after. Very rich menu and range from the sea to the mountains. very good the fried calamaretti. without infamy and without praise the fish of the day. fast service, very kind staff. Prices a little high, but (unfortunately) in line with positano, where at times they make you pay euro for a coffee. I don't think I'd come back, even to change and try something different. but in the complex is a restaurant where you eat well (paying so much).

A pleasant evening spent on the terrace of the galley in the heart of Positano. service available and really good dishes. prices a little high but adapted to the wonderful context.
