Paco Wences (h. Picos De Valdecoro)

We were staying here for a couple of nights and decided to try the restaurant as it had good reviews...and it was close. After a bit of thought we tried their menu degustacion for only 15E each and course after course kept arriving. The dishes were all pretty good and a couple were excellent. I wouldn't have been surprised at seeing them individually for between 5 to 10E each and there were 5 of them. And a bottle of wine and a bottle of water was included as well. It was the kind of value you think doesn't exist any more.

When we go to Potes, we visite this restaurant because is managed by a family and the menu is very good, the place is nice and the service is like at home.

Potes is a bit hit and miss with it's restaurants. Cheap menu but poor quality. We had the degustation menu which featured local ingredients and was very interesting. The waitress was helpful talking us through. The menu included a bottle of wine which was of decent quality. A nice surprise.

Sitio en la calle principal, por lo que los precios son un poco elevados, pero no mucho más de lo que nos hemos encontrado por la zona. Personal serio pero amable. Amplio surtido de dulces. Llegamos algo tarde (12:15 hras. , no había mucho surtido de pasteles

Sin mas, pedi cruasan y napolitana, me dijeron que no tenian (a las 10:00), las bebidas estaban estaban tan calientes que casi no se podian tomar, pedimos 2 tostas de aceite y tomate que estaban bien.
