They lady taking orders very kindly moved us away from table full of kids .I had Nolan steak , the thicker portion cooked to perfection , the thinner bit a little over done for me , but I guess unavoidable when still attached and cooked together . She who must be obeyed , had chicken parmi and she reckons it was best she has ever had . Big call .Staff in restaurant were just great and I like the fact you can watch the chef and cooks preparing the meals .We will stay in Pottsville again just to go back .
We visited as a family group of 13- for lunch to try the new front garden area which is more children family. The pro's were the staff were lovely and made an effort, it was so hot and they brought water around which was welcomed. The club doesn't open up fluidly to the front beer garden where the children's play area is which was odd, there was 4 very unsafe incidents of umbrellas blowing out of holes in tables and hitting adults/ kids or nearly which the locals there said has occurred for weeks with no resolution. We left early to avoid it.Our food was so ordinary- shame because after a week of holidays and delicious meals at Ocean Shores, Kingscliff and Byron I would definitely not recommend eating here. The kids menu is limited- they could do with adding some basics like a burger or nachos or a chicken and salad wrap. The normal lunch menu was mostly expensive and although was varied it had too much and we all felt they need to consider reducing the variety and doing a few things well- it lacked some basic fresh, tasty and affordable lunch items. I tried the Cajun chicken burger which was not tasty. Overall it was overpriced, not great quality and I wouldn't recommend.
Nice cool spot on a hot day. We arrived on 23rd to see Fat Albert what a great night! Back for lunch and then agsin for Wednesday raffles. Great prices for beers. Food is also very nice.
The sports club is only a short walk from the Holiday Park we were staying. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was something for everyone on the menu. The food was fresh but we found the meals a tad on the large side.
While holidaying in Pottsville we walked to this small club and were very pleasantly surprisedFrom the minute we walked in we were pleased with the friendlyness of the staff, all the staffThe food and drinks are reasonably priced and tastyWe decided to have lunch, which we shared ,no problem, they gave us an extra plate and cutleryBecause of the service we went for dinner as wellJust as goodPottsville is lucky to have such an establishment
