Casa Da Ramada - Póvoa de Varzim

Delightful restaurant on the Camino heading to Rates... We had a lightly fried fish tapas, soup and rose that they only make here, and it was lovely. The young guy spoke great English and helped us understand that the grapes are grown locally and there's so much in October that they give some away!

The perfect place for lunch or dinner with family or even friends. They are so friendly and warm that makes you feel so welcome. The food its exquisite, home Made tradicional portuguese. Highly recomdnded

El lugar es súper agradable, tener una bonita zona abierta, buena atención y muy buena comida. el arroz de pato, la vitela y el lulas grilhadas fue lo que pedimos y todo lo excelente. Sólo si se necesita un poco de tiempo para venir.

I was taken to this lovely hidden restaurant in May 2022 and was really blown away by the friendly service and quality of the farmhouse cooking. We both had duck cooked with rice and topped with a fried egg which sounds a bit bizarre, but, was in fact delicious. We had this with a slightly bubbly, chilled red wine known as the Blood of God and it really was first class and we drank it from little bowls which is traditional. I would love to come back.
