Feedback gevenIm impressed by the quality of OBS when a lot of other chains have cut corners. Even the Mac and cheese is good.
I dont like to leave negative reviews. You can chalk some situations up to its an off day. This whole meal was off. Steak was requested medium cook. One end of the steak was medium, 3/4 was rare. Potato was cut in 3 pieces and some kind of dark black soaked into it couldnt cut enough off to make edible. Broccoli was nice. Salad, cucumbers and most of the sliced in half cherry tomatoes were mush, pulled those off ate the salad while my steak is cooking in the oven. Dont know what happened here too many wrong things to pay that much money to a pretty big resturant corp where consistent quality is suposed to be expected.
It was very disappointing to have a $70 dinner delivered with a cold filet mignon and cold French fries: medium rare, high quality beef ruined due to slow delivery by Door Dash. The second most irritating point was the $10 tip to the driver. Guess well have to miss the quality food due to ridiculously low service by this Door Dash employee
This is the 3rd time my grilled chicken ceasar salad wasnt in my order and 2 other times they left out my chicken... I worked curbside out Carrabbas in college (sister store of Outback) and always double checked to make sure the pickup items were correct its not that hard... I can understand stuff happens but this has happened within the past 5 weeks , like seriously come on... I even called the store this time to make sure it was right and they said yes... The food is already over priced , getting an order right isnt that difficult and the Dasher should check the orders too... Lesson learned.. .
The steak was good, but good god the fully loaded mashed potatoes were amazing. To really appreciate them Id recommend eating them in a relatively quiet room, dimming the light or closing your eye so you can fully focus your attention on the feel of the texture and taste of each bite. The potatoes themselves are creamy with just a hint of bite resistance from the occasional bit of not-fully-mashed potato or the subtitle crunch of a chive. The taste drifts from second to second between the zest of the sour cream and the coyness of rich cheddar, anchored together by the soothing but never bland foundation of the potatoes. This is not a side to be passed up. The carrot cake was also super good.
