Carzell's Kitchen Llc - Powder Springs

This was my first time here, and I had the fried tilapia along with black-eyed peas and collard greens. It was absolutely amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back!

I was craving country-fried steak and decided to check out Carzell’s Kitchen in Powder Springs, just four miles from my house. I ordered baked chicken breast over potatoes (instead of rice) with gravy, along with macaroni and cheese and collard greens as my two sides, and cornbread muffins on the side. Everything was perfectly seasoned, served hot, and fresh. I also ordered from the kids' menu for my grandson: shrimp and green beans, along with a homemade lemonade and a cornbread muffin. This is truly comforting soul food, with generous portions and everything freshly prepared. It’s a much better option than West Cobb Diner or Cracker Barrel.

I feel like I completely wasted my money! The food used to be good, but I don't know what went wrong. The rice was mushy, almost like potatoes, and the Land Fried Steak and Gravy was just a big mess. The gravy had no flavor, and the onions and peppers were burnt.

I mean it very seriously that my food is up and made for love, this food is good! I ordered smothered grilled chicken breast with mash $6.50 and a vegetable plate with Mac, black eye bears, roasted cabbage. $9.

My daughter and I have been going to Carzells for years, ever since they open. The food is amazing! Support our community. Support local. One visit and you?ll be hooked.
