Wildwood Public House - Powell River

We had a good experience at the restaurant and would like to visit again. We came in on Saturday for Oktoberfest and the place was quite full, with many patrons enjoying the patio. It was great to see such strong support for a local business. Since it was busy, we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. My favorite part of the meal was the pizza, so I am definitely interested in trying more items on their menu. They had some craft beer options available, although we would have liked to see more choices. Overall, it was a positive dining experience.

I typically don't write reviews, but I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I had high expectations for the service based on the reviews, but unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. We had to wait a long time to place our orders, our water was forgotten, and it seemed like our waitress didn't like us. We even had to go to the counter to pay our bill because no one checked on us. The salad with spicy tofu was good, as well as the pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It's a shame that I'll be in the area for a few months, but I won't be returning to this establishment.

Went on Monday sign said "Closed for staff event, open 3pm tommorow "Went on Tuesday at 3:15, not open though lights and music were on, staff member came out, asked if they were open "In about 30 minutes "Came back at 5 and the doors were still locked.Don 't trust that they will be open. Won 't be trying again.

The food and service at this restaurant were amazing. I definitely plan on coming back and highly recommend it.

Friendly wait staff, live music, great selection, fish and chips were great!
