Liberty Tavern - Powell

It takes a lot for me to get offended enough to take my time to post a poor review. As a full time working, married, mom of 3 I just don’t have the time or energy. But my carry out order was so sub par, and really just unacceptable. I ordered the hot honey chicken meal…and my order was nothing like the description. If I was into tic toc, I could easily post a “what I ordered vs. what I got” type of video. What was described as lightly fired chicken thighs was actually the total opposite, basically chicken tenders. And to top it off, one of my sides was missing. Very disappointed.

It’s not about being free of the parliamentary, it’s about being free from yourself. Chas is the vibe. If you are lucky enough to have him as your bartender, you will have an amazing night. Amazing atmosphere and equally amazing drinks.

Give me Chas or give me death. Patrick Henry probably No joke, he is an incredible bartender.

Ordered on Grubhub at 6:50, got “driver is picking up order” notification, then at 7:20 the order was cancelled because “the restaurant is closed.” If they’re too busy for online orders fine, but why wait half an hour to let me know that?

The times I've visited, the staff was very attentive and did exceptionally well. The interior is well done, with open garage doors to the outside and a sizable patio. The food, however, is below par, especially considering the other restaurants around. In particular, the fish and chips are dripping with grease and it feels like the batter is done well before the fish is, leaving the fish feeling undercooked. It's not terrible, but, as mentioned, there are better options available for a little bit more money.
