Yabo's Tacos Powell

The best tacos I've ever had! The food is truly incredible. This was our first visit, and I will definitely return.

While sports bars aren't really my scene, I do enjoy Mexican cuisine. This restaurant has a very relaxed vibe—perhaps overly so. The chicken was decent, but the queso tasted more like jarred nacho dip. The sour cream seemed to be made from powdered milk, which was disappointing. You have to pay for chips and salsa or chips with anything else as appetizers, but the meals themselves are reasonably priced. I ordered a burrito, but by the time I got halfway through, I felt sick from the cheese. The atmosphere reminded me more of a Sonic drive-in than a Buffalo Wild Wings. Overall, this place just wasn't for me.

On the brighter side, the curry chicken taco was quite tasty, and the quality of the steak was impressive as well. The service from the waitress was outstanding during my last two visits, which really enhanced the experience. It’s also kid-friendly, which was a big plus for me as a parent of a 2-year-old. Overall, I would recommend giving it a try, but it’s not a place I find myself dreaming about revisiting. Still, if someone invites me back, I wouldn’t complain!

We came on a Saturday night around 6pm. It wasn’t busy. Inside had a very relaxed sports bar vibe. We were told to have a seat, but our waiter took a really long time to bring menus, in fact he never took our order the bar tender noticed we weren’t being helped and came over and waited on our table. The tacos were fine. They have some interesting options for some. The chips and salsa were really good but they’re not complimentary. Overall it’s a sports bar style taco shop with less traditional taco options, but I had a poor experience because of the service.

So I like the food here but haven't been in awhile because most of the family doesn't. Last time was pretty miserable. It took a solid 15 minutes to get anyone's attention. Eventually when we did we ordered food and both meals came out wrong. I ordered another beer and it never made it's way to the table. Kinda bummed that this place has fallen off the map on service. Bartender seemed really nice but just couldn't get the entire operation to perform. Disappointed.
