Osaka Hibachi Sushi - POWHATAN

Eating is still great, but the amount of food we receive is about 75% of what it was earlier. we have ordered from here since they opened and love the food, but it feels like we really are torn off with the price and the amount of food we received earlier. the containers are definitiw smaller and the rice that is added is used in the grunde the food-hibachi trio to garnish with much more meat and much less rice-had no warning that hibachi trio only four garnel and this standard. that was not on the menu and I do not say that it has to be added more garnel, but the price must be adjusted if they do not want to give them the same amount of food they use to them especially if the price does not decrease. pay more money for less eating - not sure that I can recommend this place to anyone if this is the way it will be.

I love that you can either order online or call ahead for takeout, and the food is delicious!

The owner made my sushi very friendly without crispy tempura, as I am gluten-intolerant, and I thought that would be good, but I still had a slight gluten reaction. I have looked around a little, and it seems as if gluten could still be present in rice, sauces, gluten-covered cooking materials / fry oil, wasabi. if they have an ingredient list for us allergen-prone people, that would be wonderful! I love special rolling with different sauces, but it can be particularly tricky to tease out when there are any hidden gluten sources.

Great food, fair prices, clean environment, and very nice people. They are a little stingy with the yum yum sauce though.

We ordered online for 4 people and arrived at the restaurant half an hour later only to find that our food wasn't ready. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes because they hadn't even started cooking it yet. The staff advised us not to use the online service and to order by phone instead. Despite the delay, everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, though I found mine to be just okay. I am hesitant to return in the future. If you enjoy this type of cuisine, it may be worth a try, but I would recommend avoiding the app for ordering.
